Being an SSP student means more than I can imagine. Being an SSP student has allowed me to work hard and apply myself in a good school, and that has helped me be a better student every day. SSP has changed my life because now I realize that with dedication and hard work I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.
How is your current school different than your middle school?
Cathedral is different than my middle school because there are so many opportunities for me to take advantage of. Also, I have found that the counselors and teachers are more aware of my needs, and they are always available to help me and encourage me.
What does it mean to you to have a mentor?
To have a mentor like Natalia means a lot to me. I appreciate so much that someone is paying for my education and supporting me, because so many people do not have that opportunity. I am so grateful for that. Having a mentor and having this experience makes me work harder, because I realize that if I work hard then maybe one day I can do the same for a student like me.
