This past week, Jermaine Bishop of Holy Cross High School made an exciting decision regarding his college education. After much deliberation, the SSP senior signed officially with St. Louis University. He will be heading to the St. Louis campus this June to join his team, the Division 1, Atlantic 10 Conference Basketball Team, The St. Louis Billikens. Not only is Jermaine putting his sports talents to use, he will also begin his college studies on a full scholarship. “We are proud of Jermaine and all he has accomplished!” SSP School Coordinator at Holy Cross Barbara London gushed. We at SSP also applaud Jermaine for all of his hard work. We are also thankful for the support of his mentor, Michael Almonte, for the support that he provided to Jermaine during his high school career. It’s stories like these that make our mission of partnering with students to reach their full potential really come alive!
