SSP’s First Flanigan Scholars Make Exciting College Decisions

This past fall, SSP announced our inaugural Peter M. Flanigan Scholarship recipients. Our first Flanigan Scholars were recognized for their exemplary academic achievements and were given a scholarship to the college or university of their choice by the Kovner Foundation as well as specialized college application advice from R&R Education Consultants. This unique opportunity allowed these students to put their best foot forward as they chose and applied to colleges across the country. Now, after hours of work and many essay drafts, they have made their decisions!

Renai in Cap and Gown Renai Foster (Graduate of The Mary Louis Academy) has chosen to attend Amherst College this fall to study Psychology.

Ashley during graduation (1)Ashley Gonzalez-Melo (Salutatorian and Graduate of Saint Raymond Academy) has chosen to attend SUNY Binghamton this fall to study Political Science.

Albert with graduation gown (2)Albert Peraza (Graduate of Mount St. Michael Academy) has chosen to attend New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Again, the entire staff at SSP is proud of these three individuals and is looking forward to following along with their college journeys. Best of luck!
