Student Sponsor Partners would like to announce that Executive Director Margaret Minson will be stepping down in April of 2014. We at SSP are so thankful for her leadership and her tremendous contributions to our organization!

Dr. Margaret M. Minson became executive director of SSP in 2007, after spending time as the vice president for institutional advancement at both Marymount Manhattan College and St. Joseph’s College. Her work at these institutions doubled annual giving and established a professional fundraising organization. At SSP, Margaret focused on sponsor satisfaction and accountability to our students and mentors. More recently, Margaret led the charge for college readiness – making sure that our students are given the tools needed to succeed outside of high school. These efforts have translated into a successful college readiness pilot program, as well as an improved experience for our students, mentors, and sponsors. The SSP team is grateful for Margaret’s years of service and meaningful impact on our community.
