On April 14th, Student Sponsor Partners held the 2011 Graduation Reception to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating class of 2011 with 100 SSP seniors and their mentors joined together at the home of SSP Board Member, Dr. Valerie Rowe and her husband Jack Rowe.
With the support of SSP, their Sponsors, mentors, and Partner Schools, the students in the class of 2011 are completing a journey and achieving a goal that may otherwise have been impossible. In a city where over 40% of their peers drop out of public high schools, they are graduating, and over 95% of them will go on to attend college. It is a huge achievement, and we are very proud of our graduating seniors.
