Corporate Sponsorship

IMG_6980

Student Sponsor Partners has a strong history of partnerships with corporations in New York City, and their support has helped nearly 5,000 SSP® students graduate from high school since Student Sponsor Partners’ founding in 1986. Corporations can donate either to Student Sponsor Partners’ general operating expenses or directly to fund the tuition of students. Corporations also bolster the SSP program by encouraging their employees to participate as sponsors and mentors, helping to coordinate employee-student events, and contributing to employee matching gift programs.

In 2010, three firms – Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, and Morgan Stanley – funded the education of a combined 400 students in the class of 2014. Senior members within each firm donated the money to fund the tuition of the students, and while a number of the sponsors chose to mentor a student, the remainder of the students are being mentored by junior employees at the firms.
