Kemba Walker, a Student Sponsor Partners alumnus, has emerged on the NCAA basketball stage as one of the best college players this year. This March, the point guard led the University of Connecticut Huskies on an 11 game winning streak that ended in their win over Bulter in the NCAA championship game.

Kemba graduated from Rice High School in Harlem in 2008, a school he was able to attend with the support of SSP and his Sponsor, Arthur Black. It was at Rice High School where he developed his basketball skill, and now he has graduated from the University of Connecticut with a national championship to his name. Kemba was chosen 9th overall in the NBA draft to join the Charlotte Bobcats.
