Shalia Garnett, Mother Cabrini High School ’13, was recently awarded a full scholarship to Fairfield University. Her mentor is Natalie Emerson.

Shalia would have attended the local public school she lotteried into had she not found out about Student Sponsor Partners through her middle school principal. After much hard work in school and becoming involved in several activities (she is on the Math League, choir, and is captain of her cheerleading squad!), Shalia is about to embark on the next chapter of her life at Fairfield’s nursing school.
