The NY Daily News has a piece about 2012 SSP graduate Krystal Diaz in today’s paper. Krystal immigrated with her family to the Bronx from the Dominican Republic when she was 2 year old. Fifteen years later she is graduating from St. Raymond Academy with a perfect attendance record and she will be attending Manhattan College on a scholarship in the fall. Because of SSP and the incredible support from Krystal’s mentor Maggie Howell, who works at Morgan Stanley, Krystal will be the first person in her family to go to college in the US. Congratulations to Krystal and Maggie!
