SSP students looking for summer jobs should check out New York City’s “Summer Youth Employment” website. The Summer Youth Employment Program provides New York City youth with summer employment and educational opportunities. Students as young as 14 can apply for summer jobs. In 2011, the program employed over 30,000 young New Yorkers. You can have the opportunity to work in government agencies, hospitals, summer camps, nonprofits, small businesses, law firms, museums, sports enterprises, and retail organizations.
